PNT APPRENTICE PROGRAM

This program is designed for the most serious dancers. Train with top artists, travel, attend the elite intensive, perform at our National Competition, and take your dream of becoming a professional dancer to the next level!

Program Requirements

  • Dancers must be 11 years or older.

  • Able to attend and assist at a minimum of 3 events per year, one of which must be a competition.

  • Able to attend, assist, and perform at Nationals.

  • Must be an exemplary role model both at your home studio and on social media.

  • Able to learn fresh and innovative choreography at a fast pace.

  • Must participate in dedicated technique classes at your home studio, outside of regular routine rehearsals. Ballet is required.

  • Dancers selected are required to purchase a $25 PNT tank top to be worn at all events.

Program Details

The Prestige Apprentice program was specifically created for the most serious dancer who aims to pursue dance on a professional level post-high school. By becoming a member of PNT’s apprentice program, your dancer will have the rare opportunity to train with top artists in the industry. Dancers will continuously be challenged to grow within their professionalism, technique and artistry. Our PNT Apprentice Program is under the direction of Kristal Venters. Kristal has extensive professional level training and is an incredible mentor to all of her students. 

As a member of PNT your dancer will be able to attend and assist at our conventions at NO additional charge. We request you attend a minimum of 3 events during the season. 1 competition and 1 convention during the regional season. Nationals is also a requirement. 

NEW THIS SEASON - PNT Apprentices will be offered a free solo at any regional PNT competition during our season. PENDING they have met all guidelines and worked the approved amount of events.

Apprentice dancers will be asked to sign up to work at an assigned regional competitions. They will assist backstage and at judge’s tables, in addition to all awards ceremonies. 

Dancers are expected to remain in good standing with their home studios, and also participate in weekly technique classes outside of normal rehearsal times. 

We are looking for exemplary role models. Not only within your home studios, but social media as well. You will learn fresh and innovative choreography at a fast pace, as well as perform during our annual showcase at nationals. 

As a company we take this role very seriously. You are the face of our organization, and are expected to conduct yourselves professionally. You will help backstage, onstage, and so much more! You will be pushed and encouraged to stretch beyond your limits, and to grow as an individual/artist. 


How to Audition

To audition for the PNT apprentice program, please submit the following information to kristal@dancepnt.com.

  •  A 1:00-1:30 Minute video submission of your choice, including your introduction. If you are proficient in Tap, please indicate that as well. It’s best to include as many styles as possible. Please do not send a former solo. 

  • An introduction stating your name, age, and home studio. Please speak clearly. 

  • Tell us a little about yourself, and why you would like to become a member of our Prestige Apprentice Program

  •  A headshot

Submission Deadlines

We will be accepting submissions until Sunday, September 1st, 2024.

If chosen, you will be notified via email. This email will contain important dates and expectations as well as a behavior contract. Our first event is the Wichita, KS convention on Sunday, September 15th.

Disclaimer: Convention fees are paid by Prestige National Talent. Any per diems such as hotel, travel, and meals will not be covered. We reserve the right to cancel events due to low attendance at any time.
